Wellesley Allen
1942-2019
Please join us as we celebrate and honour the life and beautiful
spirit of our beloved: husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle,
friend, teacher, and mentor: Les Allen.
Wellesley (Les) Alexander Allen was born in May Pen, Clarendon,
Jamaica to Lynette Simpson and Easton Allen departed this life on July
5th 2019, peacefully, at home surrounded by his family and minister.
Relatives and friends remembered Les as a loving, charming, determined
man, an inventor, a machinist and a man who enjoyed long walks with
his grandchildren.
Les is loved deeply and is remembered by his wife Nadine Allen,
daughters: Patrice (Clay Bouthillier), Dale (Trevor Stevenson), and
Swabia Lisa Allen, grandchildren: Jahro and Zion Stevenson,
Nhyeema-Rayn Allen Nugent, and Kauray Allen Bouthillier, sister Nora
Brown and family, brothers: Trevor Sinclair, Desmond, Lloyd and Lee
Allen, cousins Bell and family, Yvonne Shelton and family, nieces and
nephews: Omar and Tameka Sinclair; Leroy, Delroy, Glenroy, Michelle,
Alex, Damion, Shane, Marshall, Cruz, Latoya, Tamika, Renee and Andre
Allen, relatives: Ruddy, Velma, Mike and Gina Mitchell, Etta, Scotty
and Sean Burnett, Gloria and Locksley Green and many more wonderful
relatives and friends.
Special appreciation to:
-Dr. Beth Vallieres and staff for their patience and care during Les’
health journey
-Yvonne Rowe Samadhin (NP), Julia, Pat, Ram and the Paramed health
team, the Local Health Integration Network

Les Allen’s Celebration of Life will be held at:
St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 1485 Mary Ave, Cambridge July 20, 2019 at
2 o’clock pm
Interment Service to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain St,
Cambridge
Followed by reception back at St. Luke’s Anglican Church
As an expression of love, donations made to the Canadian Cancer
Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly
appreciated by the family.
