Collette, Wanda Lee (Towns)
January 4, 1940 – July 2, 2019
Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital after a short illness with her family by her side. Mother of Trevor (Carie), grandmother of Rhys, daughter of the late Alice Mahon (nee Hoare). Remembered by sisters Donna, Gail, Sheila, Audrey, nieces, nephews and their families. Former employee of Kingston Psychiatric Hospital, Sir James Whitney (Belleville), Hastings County Board of Education (Belleville), and Ontario Provincial Police Headquarters #9 (Belleville). In keeping with her wishes cremation with no funeral or visitation and a private burial at St. James Cemetery next to special friend the late Cyril Holland will be held. A celebration of life may take place at a later date. Her friends and family will be contacted.
Wanda Lee would like to relay the following: “Words cannot measure my respect and care for all my family, friends and former co-workers. Blessings to all.” Her family extends their profound gratitude to all the staff at KGH, and particularly to the nurses and doctors of Davies 4 Critical Care for their expertise, their respect and especially their compassion.
