Thomas “Tom” Francis Gorman
July 31, 1930 – July 15, 2019

The passing of Thomas “Tom” Francis Gorman of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Rosemary (Enos) Gorman occurred on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Windsor Court Retirement Residence. Born on July 31, 1930 in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of the late John and Katherine (McCann) Gorman. Tom graduated from the UNB Civil Engineering Department; he then worked as a Civil Engineer with the Department of Transportation, until his retirement. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Parish; the Knights of Columbus and UCT. Tom was an avid curler and golfer.

Tom is survived by his children, Paul Gorman, Joanne Gorman, Susan Gorman (Mark), Tom Gorman (Monique) and Tim Gorman (Stacey); fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Jean Campbell; sisters in law, Mary Paine, Annoncia Daigle (Sylvestre) and Bernice Maillet; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was predeceased by his brother, John Gorman; sister in law, Sr. Anne Enos; brothers in law, Peter Campbell and John Daigle.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Theresa’s Parish on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11 am with Father Martin Arputham as celebrant. Interment will take place in Hermitage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
