DOUCET, Theresa Blanche – Born in St. Paul, Alberta on the day the Armistice was signed on November 11, 1918 ending World War I, Theresa Doucet passed away Sunday July 14, 2019 at Niagara General Hospital after a brief illness. Theresa is survived by her four children, Jacqueline Dingman (John Van Rees), Mia Doucet, Dr. John Doucet (Marilee), and Jocelyne Kitching. Grandchildren Jennifer Riemersma (Steffen), Lisan Dingman-Nagy (Bill), Courtney Maguire (Jason), Trevor Zelman, Dr. Andrés Zelman (Andrea Zelman-Sofrova), Dr. Aimée Zelman (Steve Westcott), Kristin Roff (David), Dr. Rebecca Doucet, and Dr. David Patrick. Great grandchildren Amanda Godron (Anthony), Alexis Nagy, Brooke Nagy, Mairin Maguire, Corson Maguire, Bryn Maguire, Aria Smith, and Piper Smith. Great Great Grandchildren Evelea and Bennett. Our Mom loved life and her independence while living at the Emerald Retirement Residence. She kept her mind active playing cards online daily and staying up to date with the news on CNN and CBC. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, for visitation on Thursday from 12 to 2 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
