Obituary of Sylvia Fuller
It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of Sylvia Fuller (nee Simo) of Burlington, Ontario and most recently, Antigonish, Nova Scotia on Sunday, July 28th. Born in Senlac, Saskatchewan in 1937, she was a proud alumna of the University of Saskatchewan’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Her professional nursing career enabled her to work in hospitals throughout the west, before settling in Burlington, Ontario and becoming a nurse educator and later a real estate agent. Her greatest joys came from time with her family, raising her sons and spending time with her grandchildren and her cats. She loved to travel, read, play bridge with her friends, and play Scrabble with her family. Predeceased by her dear parents (Dominic and Elizabeth), her beloved sister-in-law (Nancy), and too many friends. She is survived by sons Todd of Burlington, Ontario and Mark (Reema) of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, her grandchildren, brother Zoltan (Rianne), nieces Connie and Sherry (Robert), and nephew Zoltan John (Silvana). Special thanks to the caring nurses and doctors of St. Martha’s Regional Hospital who provided her amazing comfort, support and traditional nursing care of which she was most impressed. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Burlington Humane Society (Burlington, ON) or St. Martha’s Regional Hospital (Antigonish, NS) would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario. A private memorial service will take place in Burlington, Ontario at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Sylvia
