Sydney Sauder 2019

Sydney Brubacher Sauder, age 85, of Tavistock and formerly of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on July 21, 2019. Born in Woolwich Township, son of the late Moses and Salome (Brubacher) Sauder.
Beloved husband for 60 years of Esther (Gerber). Loving father of Colleen Steckly (Bruce) and Charlotte Steckly (Perry). Grandfather of Rachel and Connor. Brother of Salinda Gingrich (John), Melvin (Irene), Betty Martin, Nelson (Martha), Orvie (Esther), Lydia Ann Reist (Paul). Also survived by sisters-in-law Elvina Sauder, Madeliene Gerber and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Alvin, Amsey (Hannah), George (Minerva), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Ruth Jantzi (Leonard Roth and Laverne Jantzi), Alma Sauder, Edwin Martin and Norman Gerber.
Friends and relatives may call at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Tuesday, July 23, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Brent Kipfer will officiate. Interment in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association through the W.G.
