STEPHEN EDWIN (Bud) BRAGG
1943- 2019
Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 12 in the Coronary Care Unit at the Health Sciences Center in the presence of his loving family. Leaving to mourn his wife of 47 years, Helena, as well as his three children whom he adored: Steve (Lori), Trini, and Lindsay Boland (Dave). Three grandchildren who were the light of his life: Madeline Boland, Julianna Boland, and Bridget Bragg. Three sisters: Blanche Hochwald (Ulrich), Nora Clarke (Herbert) and Andrea Fugate (Grover). Sisters-in-law: Agnes Cantwell, Dolores Withers (Vince), and Regina Angel. Brothers-in-law: Gerry Cantwell (Dorothy) and Ted Cantwell (Donna). Two special godchildren: niece Joanne Chafe (Doug) and great niece, Maria Chafe, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Apart from those times when he was engaging in his love of travel or his frequent visits to Costco, Bud was never long absent from the company of his forever faithful Oliver (and predeceased brother, Jack) – his lake-walking, sports-watching canine companions. Bud was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following sports and spending cherished time at the golf and curling clubs.
Our family extends a special, heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at the CCU for their exceptional and compassionate care during his time there.
Mass of Christian burial at St. Pius X Church on Tuesday, July 16 at 9:30 am. Private interment. At Bud’s request, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, it was his wish that donations in his memory may be made to the Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador, an organization close to his heart.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Stephen Edwin Bragg 2019..
