Stephen Craig Dutcher
Dutcher, Stephen “Steve” – Passed away peacefully after many brave battles, surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Welland General Hospital at the age of 60. Steve is lovingly remembered by his four children Dawn Dutcher (Les), Jody May (Justin), Brandon Dutcher, Austin Dutcher and Tanner Crabbe. Loving grandfather to River, Brayden, Chloie, Chelsea, Ariel, Emma, Anthony ,Maya-Sophia, Alissa ,Zoe. Beloved son of the late Beryl Anderson (Andy) and Claude Dutcher. Dearest brother of Gary Dutcher (Lori), Laurie Heyd (Don), Shari Huot (Allan). Fondly remembered as the very funny and witty Uncle by his many nieces and nephews. Steve was an avid Pro-Line player and was the number one fan of the Detroit Red Wings and always believed in them as they would carry on winning the Stanley Cup multiple times. His die hard love for Pink Floyd ran deep as that’s all he would talk about, whenever he could. Steve will be remembered by his family as the most loving, caring and strongest member of their family. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, July 5th from 10 am to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held in the Cudney Chapel at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
