Shirley Jean Taylor passed away peacefully on July 17 2019, at Lee Manor in Owen Sound Ontario . Daughter of the late Creighton and Jean Taylor. Loving, caring, and dearest sister of the late Linda Taylor, sister of David Taylor (Roma), loving aunt of Deborah Donaldson (Ian), Creighton (Lois), Paul (Bonnie), Jeffrey (Kristie) and John (Jen) Taylor, and very proud Great Aunt of Taylor (Kyle), Rorey (Devan) Shauna (John), Megan (Mike), Jaffa (Tim), David, Jesse (Chris), Paige (Mitch), Riley, Kieran, Reese and Maya and Great Great Aunt to Cohan, Mila, James and Willa.
Shirley was born and raised in Owen Sound where she taught kindergarten for 35 years. She loved her job and touched many lives . She was known affectionately by many as Mother Goose. In her retirement she enjoyed playing golf, curling, bridge but what brought her the most joy was going on adventures and spending time with her sister. Her church and her faith were important to her. Shirley had a huge kind heart and was always doing things for others. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a smile that could light a room.
Many thanks to the Doctors and the staff of Lee Manor for their wonderful professional, kind, care and concern during Shirley”s stay there.
