Ruth Rayburn-Arseneault passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 after a brief illness. Born 1936 in Brampton, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Cook) Rayburn.
Ruth is survived by her husband David Rayburn-Arseneault as well as her children, Carolyn Hosking, Jeffrey (Cindy) Veness, Karen (Gordon) Atkins, Norma Cooper and Evan (Nicki) Veness; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, along with her siblings, Alan, Everett and Marilyn. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Lynda Helson, son-in-law Doug Hosking and brother Elwood Rayburn.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at Meenan’s Cove in Quispamsis on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 1-4:30pm. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
