Rosemary’s Obituary
STEWART, Rosemary Deanna – 70, of Oak Park, passed into the presence of the Lord on July 11, 2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in North East Point, she was the daughter of the late Blake and Edith (Nickerson) Hopkins. Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She would be found almost every evening at the local Tim Hortons. She is survived by her son, Blake (Helen); step-sons, Russell, David, Kendrick and Burton; step-daughter, Ena; grandchildren, Kayden (Brianna) and Paula (Boyd); 10 step- grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Adrien; 24 step-great-grandchildren and 3 step -great-great grandchildren; brother Alpheus; sisters, Judy (Martin); many nieces, nephews, and her church family and friends. Rosemary was predeceased by her first husband, Oran and second husband, Ron; brothers, Blanchard and Arley; step-son, Robin. The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and staff at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, special thanks to Flora Atkinson for being there every step of the way to the end. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13 from 6-8 pm in H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 14 at 2:00 pm from H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, and Pastor Jack Carter officiating. Interment in Riverdale cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund or Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
