In Loving Memory
of
Rosa (Montemurro) Aiello
91 years
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of our dear mother’s passing. On July 10th, surrounded by her loving family, God welcomed her home. Our mother lived a life that was selfless, humble and faith-filled; her only want was to be surrounded by her children, Sam (Tonia), and Maria (Theo) and especially by her precious granddaughters, Teresa and Sarah. She found joy in giving of herself to others through her love of cooking. Mom will be missed by her many dear friends both young and old. She was especially cherished by Geppina, John, Rocco and Antoinette (predeceased), their precious Mammina. Dear daughter of Pietro and Maria both predeceased. Dear sister of Nina, Franco and Aldo all predeceased. Sadly missed by sister in law Maria and nephews Franco and Piero. There are no words to properly thank the many nurses and PSWs on the 4th floor of Health Sciences North, the staff and volunteers at the Maison McCulloch Hospice and a sincere thank you to Dr. Ravi Singh for his care and compassion. Although Mom’s stay was short, your compassion, gentleness and professional care was so much appreciated. Thank you to Father Larry for administering the Sacrament of the Sick for Mom, to Maria Santoro for coming to give Mom Holy Communion and to Thelma Mandaglio for leading prayer with us on Mom’s final days.
