Ronald’s Obituary
Peacefully, in his sleep at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday July 23, 2019, in his 76th year. Reunited with his parents Gordon and Veronica Gaal and his sister Carol Elliott (Jim). Ron is survived by his children Robert, Rhonda, Cheryl, Scott and Steven. Grandfather of several grandchildren. He will be missed by his surviving siblings Diann Judson, Judy Shellard (Bob), Joan Courtney (Bev) and Ken Gaal (Brenda).
Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Saturday July 27, 2019 from 10 to 11 for visitation. A Memorial Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am. In accordance with Ron’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In Ron’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) would be appreciated by the family.
