Obituary of Robert Douglas Gibson
Robert Douglas Gibson, “Bob” passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Thursday, July 18, 2019 in his 64th year. Son of the late Douglas and Shirley Gibson. Husband of the late Susan Gibson (nee Evans). Loving father of Trisha Gibson (Ryan) of Marmora, Brad (Rachel) Gibson of Wooler and Angela (Shane) Hodgson of Kingston. Proud grandfather of Evan, Kacie, Ezekiel, Hallie, Cassidy and Alex. Dear brother of Sharleen (Lyn) Plestid, Richard (Jennie), Murney (Wendy) and David (Kim). Bob is predeceased by his sister-in-law, Lynne Gibson. He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews and extended family. A service will be held at Belleville Cemetery, Niche Wall (Section O) on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel (613-968-2273). If desired, Memorial Donations to Ovarian Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
