It is with great sadness and broken
hearts the family of the late
Rita
Eunica Allen of Jacques Fontaine announces her passing on July 28,
2019 at the age of 84 years at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand
Bank. Left to mourn with cherished memories are her 8 children.
Daughters, Rhoda (Claude) Pardy of Jacques Fontaine,
Elizabeth (Larry) Barnes of Harbour Mille, Mabel Pardy (Allan) of Red
Deer, Alberta, Louise Smith of Winterland, Bonnie Allen-Keough
(Sheldon) of Marysotwn; Sons, Arthur (Tracey) Allen of
Marystown, Howard (Janelle) Allen of Edwardsville, NS, Brian (Denise)
Allen of Burin. 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;
sisters-in-law, Mary Brushett of Grand Bank & Ivy Brushett of
Jacques Fontaine; plus a large circle of other relatives and
friends. She was predeceased by husband Arthur Allen, 6
sisters & 4 brothers.
The Allen Family will be accepting
visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on Tuesday
July 30, from 10:00am to 2:00pm then to St. Paul’s Anglican
Church in Jacques Fontaine starting at 4:00pm for the remainder of the
day. The Funeral Service will take place at St.
Paul’s Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine on Wednesday,
July 31 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at St.
Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Jacques
Fontaine.
In Rita’s memory,
donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery
Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
