1949-2019
Richard (Rick) H. Collett of Temperance Vale, NB passed away on July
27, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Richard was born on
April 9, 1949 at Fredericton, NB, a son of the late Victor and Helen
(Owens) Collett. Rick enjoyed puttering in his garage. He enjoyed
fishing and hunting in his younger years. He loved spending time with
his family, especially his grandchildren and his dog Star.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Allen) Collett of 52 years; two
sons, Blake (Michelle), Grunthal, MB and Troy (Michelle) Collett,
Fredericton, NB; two grandsons, Dawson and Riley Collett; seven
granddaughters, Kelsey, Jessica and Christie Collett, Desiree, Briann,
Alysha and Jamie Ridge; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Reg
(Gloria) and Harold (Diann), Fredericton, NB; two sisters, Joan (Bob)
Cole and Sharon (Larry) Collett/McGuire, Fredericton, NB.
In addition to his parents, Richard is predeceased by one grandson
Brett Collett and one sister, Kathy Collett.
Visitation hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday, August 1 from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral will
be held on Friday, August 2 at 2 PM with Rev. Ed Guiggey officiating.
Reception to follow in the reception hall. Interment at Ritchie
Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Richard, the family
has suggested the donor’s choice.
