Peter Norman Outerbridge November 25 1928 to July 17 2019

Passed peacefully away in St. John’s on July 17, 2019, Peter Norman Outerbridge in his 91st year. Predeceased by his first wife Marion (Marni) in 1985 and now leaving to mourn his wife of almost 30 years, Sharon; three sons – Stephen (Corie), Mark (Colleen), and John (Jennifer); eight grandchildren – Colin (Jenny), Grant (Kristen Williams), Marni, Paul, Julia, Amy, Olivia, and Maria; three step-children – Paul Sparkes (Allison), Cindy (Matts Johansson), and Victoria (Bruce Belbin); and seven step-grandchildren Marcus, Alexandra, Max, Caroline, Jack, Ben and Charlotte. Peter was an active member of the business and volunteer communities of Newfoundland & Labrador for many years.
Honoring his wishes, a private family burial at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29th at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Tuesday, July 30th at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s member may be made to St. Thomas’ Anglican Church in St. John’s, or Parkinson Canada.
