Olga F. Geddes
1918-2019
Olga F. Geddes of Irishtown, NB
passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, July 06, 2019 in her
101st year. Born in Pine Ridge, NB she was the daughter of the late
Charles and Flora (MacLean) Holmden. She was the last surviving member
of her immediate family.
Olga was a member of the Salvation Army
Church.
Survived by two daughters: Muriel Barbour of
Moncton, Catherine Vye (late Bill Caissie) of Irishtown; three sons:
Bruce (Phyllis), Garnet (Joyce) Geddes both of Irishtown and Robert
Geddes (Susan) of Elgin; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by
her husband, Elwood H. Geddes; one grandson, John Geddes; four sisters
and one brother.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers
& Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on
Tuesday, July 09, 2019 from 11:00am until time of service at
1:00pm with Rev. Doug Steeves officiating.
Interment will be in Gladeside
Cemetery.
Donations in Olga’s memory made to the Gladeside
Cemetery Maintenance Fund would be appreciated by the
family.
