Obituary of NELLIE FITKOWSKI
Nellie Fitkowski
Peacefully on July 14, 2019 in her 94th year, Nellie Fitkowski (nee Galay) passed away with the knowledge that her family loved her and treasured her in their hearts.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Sharon (Wayne) Tokar, son Barry (Nicole) Fitkowski along with grandchildren Ashley (Jordan), Kyle (Daniela), Kayla Tokar, Justin and Allison Fitkowski.
She was predeceased by her husband Mike Fitkowski, her parents Anne & Dmetro, brother’s Mike, Walter, Orest, and Russell. She leaves behind her sister Roxy Wazny and many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the staff at the Simkin Centre for the great care they provided to Nellie, especially the last few weeks.
Funeral service will be held Friday July 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St, with viewing commencing at 10:00 a.m.
Flowers gratefully declined, for those wishing to do so, donations may be made in Nellie’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
