In Loving Memory Of
Natalie Denise McDermott
Natalie Denise McDermott, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 53 years.
Natalie was born in Esterhazy, SK, on November 22, 1966. She spent her early years in Yellowknife, NT and graduated in Grande Prairie, AB where she met the love of her life, Brooks. She worked in their family business until recently and was so excited about having their “forever home” built. She loved music, her flowers and gardening, dancing and, most importantly, her two beautiful children Jordon and Riley.
Natalie was strongly independent, fiercely protective of those she loved, generous to a fault, and so funny.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Brooks; children Riley (Taylor) and Jordon (Thomas); beloved parents Robert and Trudy McKim; siblings: Kelli (Vince), Dean (Donna), and Donald; parents in-law Annette and Bud Ihlen; brother in-law J.D. and family; sister in-law Lynette (Bruce) and their daughter Kayla; as well as numerous other extended family. She was so excited about the upcoming birth of her first grandchild.
Natalie was predeceased by her father in-law Myles McDermott and nephew Dylan Zahara.
A Private Family Service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019.
A Celebration of life will follow on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 2:30pm, at the family home (15906 103 St., Grande Prairie, AB). Friends are welcome.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
