Michael Cooke 2019

Unexpectedly at Sturgeon Community Hospital, St. Albert, Alberta, our loving brother, Michael John Cooke of Edmonton, passed away on July 8, 2019 at 62 years of age.
Michael is predeceased by parents John and Sylvia Cooke. He will be dearly missed by brother, Brian (Margaret); sisters – Melanie (David); Teresa-Lee/Terry (Wes); nephew, Evan; nieces, Krista (John), Karen, Elyce (Bryan), Heather (Peter), great nephew, Jack and great niece, Grace.
Michael was passionate about music, an accomplished and self-taught musician. He wrote eloquently. He never stopped seeking and sharing knowledge. He was a true scholar. Michael was devoted to family and friends. He gave his caring and support to others selflessly and possessed a kind and loving heart.
Cremation and a private gathering remembering Michael has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice may be made.
“The flowers, the gorgeous mystic multi-coloured flowers. People are the true flowers and it has been a most precious pleasure to have temporarily strolled in your garden. “
