1947-2019
Mary P. McLenaghan, of Water Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019.
Born in Chatham, on July 29th, 1947, she was the daughter of Lillian (Campbell) and the late Raymond F. McLenaghan. She was a homemaker, a former civil servant, and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, Miramichi.
Mary’s family was her world. Mary was a very loving mother to her daughter Kimberly Turpin; loving grandmother to Dereck Turpin, affectionately knowing her as Mamy Blue, both of Quebec City, QC; a dedicated daughter to her loving and loyal mother whom she loved so dearly, Lillian McLenaghan; a sister to Joan MacKnight-Savoy (Brian) and Bonnie Ramey (Dave); one brother Robert McLenaghan (Lottie), all of Miramichi; her former husband, Jacques Turpin, of Amos, QC; as well as several nieces and nephews whom she was quite fond of. She was predeceased by her father, Raymond F. McLenaghan; one sister, Karen; two brothers, Allen and Brian; one brother-in-law, Richard MacKnight.
By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held from St. Andrew’s United Church, Miramichi, at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be at the Black River Community Cemetery.
