Mary Joan McDonald of Upper Brighton, New Brunswick passed away on
Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in
Waterville, NB. She was born February 1, 1936 and was the daughter of
the late William and Annie Mean. Besides her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Clifford McDonald; siblings, Vada (Lorne)
Shaw, Muriel (Clifford) Nevers, Fern (Myles) Craig, Fonnie (Leona)
Mean, Paul Mean.
Mary is survived by her children, Ian McDonald of Georgetown, ON,
Daniel McDonald of Burnaby, BC, Darlene (Mark) Mean of Upper Brighton,
NB, William (Debbie) McDonald of Vancouver Island, BC, Cindy (Glen)
Fritz, Kirkton, ON, Paul McDonald, Georgetown, ON; 17 grandchildren,
18 great grandchildren; brother, Glen (Gloria) Mean of Windsor, NB;
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street,
Hartland on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. A second visitation
will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at J. S. Jones Funeral Home,
11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, Ontario from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. The interment will be held in the
Limehouse Presbyterian Cemetery in Limehouse, Ontario. If so desired,
donations in Mary’s memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes
