At the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital, the peaceful passing of Mary Elizabeth Taylor (nee
Somers) age 83, formerly of St. Georges devoted wife of the late Glen
Wallace Taylor, occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Born December 11,
1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Fitzpatrick)
Somers. Mary is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Monica)
Taylor, Kerry (Lauretta) Taylor, Wendy MacPherson, Lisa (Mark) Mooney
and Jill (Jason) MacPhee; sixteen cherished grandchildren; sixteen
adored great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers and
sisters, Charles Somers, John Somers, Anita (Billy) Conohan and Aggie
Campbell. Predeceased by a infant granddaughter Maribeth Taylor.
Resting at Ferguson Logan
Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 5 to
8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday, July 10,
2019, 10:30 am, at St. Georges Catholic Church, St. Georges. Interment
to take place in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to
the Diabetes Association of PE, Kidney Foundation of PE, or the St.
Georges Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
