1937 ~ Mary Ann Tough ~ 2019
On July 13th, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer, Mary Ann Tough passed away with her family by her side. She is survived by her two children, Rick (Shar) Tough and Denise (Robert) Koch; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Riley) DeCecco, Nathan Tough, Tyrone Koch, and Wyatt Koch; four great-grand children, Giovanni, Gabriel, and Lillianna DeCecco, and McKenna Tough; three siblings, Rita Wells, Dianne Wells, and Bob (Denise) Lee; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Charles Tough in 2008. Mary Ann was born in Gull Lake, SK. She married Charles on November 3, 1954 and together they lived in numerous places in Saskatchewan while raising their family. Mary Ann loved sewing and upholstery, telling stories, laughing with family and friends, but more than anything, she loved to dance with her beloved, Charles. She was an active member of the Royal Purple and did many great things in and around the communities where she lived. Charles and Mary Ann moved to Medicine Hat in 1989 and she continued to work until she was 78 years old. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved them all. She will be fondly remembered with a smile and missed by all (including her best friend, Judge).
