MARTIN ANDREW PETTIT
It is with profound sadness that the family of Marty Pettit announce his passing at home on
July 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 17, 1943 in County Galway, Ireland he was the son of Thomas Pettit and Annie Pettit
(O’Brien). Marty was the beloved husband of Pat Pettit (Douglas), loving and proud father of
Michael and Drew (Kelly) and loving and proud grandfather of Ava, Clara, Declan and Jilly.
He is sorely missed by his siblings and families, brother Michael (Frances)Ireland, brother John
(Joan), England/Ireland, sister Mary (John) Dervan, Ireland and sisters in law and Annette, Mary
and Eileen and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Francis, Eddy, Paddy and Tommy.
Marty was an unassuming, kind, generous and considerate gentleman who would never take
more than his share. He understood the true value in life, and family and friends were his
greatest pride and joy.
At his request, there will be no service but friends and family will gather for a Marty celebration at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Martin Andrew Pettit July 17 1943 July 03 2019..
