Martha Marie Doiron
1925 – 2019
Martha Marie Doiron, wife of the late Moise “Moses” Doiron passed away at the Miramichi Senior Citizen’s Home, formerly of Nelson Miramichi, on Saturday, June 29th 2019 at the age of 94.
Martha was the daughter of the late Felix and Claudia (Bourque) Arsenault.
She was retired as a convenience store operator and was devoted to her loving family.
Martha was an active member with the Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Nelson Miramichi, NB.
She worked years with many projects for Haiti.
Martha was a beautiful artist, Seamstress and loved to knit and do crafts.
Martha is survived by her daughter-in- law: Rita Doiron of Miramichi and her grandsons: Nathan Doiron (Patricia) and Daniel Doiron (Amanda), great grandchildren: Jessica, Logan, Hayden, Ava and Alexia; two sisters: Fernande Boudreau of Drummondville, PQ and Simone Henry of Bonaven, PQ; one brother: Guy Arsenault (Pierrette) of Montreal, PQ and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Moise, Martha is predeceased by one son Maurice Joseph Doiron on October 15th 1990; three sisters: Adrienne, Auréa and Laurette; three brothers: Bruno, Paul and Louis.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB, on Thursday July 4th, 2019, from 4 to 8 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 5th, 2019, from Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Nelson Miramichi, NB, at 11:00 AM with Father Arnie Hachey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Nelson Miramichi, NB.
As expressions of sympathy, in Martha’s memory donations may be made to Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
