After 94 years of adventures with family and friends, Margaret Moore passed away peacefully on July 22, 2019. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of cooking, gardening, reading and vigorous discussions and exchanges of ideas. Born June 21, 1925 in Dromore, Northern Ireland, daughter of William and Mabel Moore; The last of her generation, she is predeceased by brothers and sister Tom, Kathleen Dougan (Stanley), John and Derek. She had just passed her 65th wedding anniversary to Desmond O’Meara, with whom she travelled through life to Scotland, England, British Columbia and Quebec, before settling in Kingston. Mother of John (Sylvia), Derek, Dennis, Ellen (Yves), Tim (Cathi) and Niall Patrick. She adored every minute spent with her grandchildren Sarah, Iain, Christopher, John and Elizabeth O’Meara, Darrell Waukey and great grandson John Papassay. She was very attached to her home in Northern Ireland and the extended Dougan family. A service will be held at St John’s Anglican Church (41 Church St, Kingston) on August 1, 2019 at 11am. A reception will follow at her favorite place in the world – her garden, 106 Yonge St, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St John’s Anglican Church or to a charity of your choice
