Peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Health Sciences
Centre, Lorraine entered into her eternal home with her son and two sisters at
her side at the age of 77.
Lorraine was predeceased by her father Robert and mother
Fanny Voss, brother Edward, four infant siblings and one brother in-law. She is survived by and will be lovingly
remembered by her son Doug (Sheri), grandson Zack (Taylor) McKie, sisters Ruth
(Peter), Pauline and Shirley (Allan), brothers Norman (Eleanor) and Albert
(Eleanor) and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was born and raised on the family farm in
Beausejour, MB. She was a hard-working
woman and an awesome mother. She loved
to dance, listen to Gospel Music and watch religious shows. Lorraine was always willing to lend a helping
hand to anyone in need.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Golden Bay Cemetery. A luncheon will follow.
