It is with great sadness that the family of the late Locksley Payne announce his passing on Tuesday, July 2nd,2019 at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in his 77th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Verna of 52 years. Daughter Wendy, grandson Blaine and granddaughter Martina. His great-grandson Jaxson. Siblings Matilda ( George ) Reid, Melina ( Bob ) Derry, Vivian ( Gilbert ) House, Riley ( Millicent ) Payne, Prescilla ( Bill ) Parsons, Clara ( Bill ) Gould, Ellen ( Ralph ) HouseLola Payne, Doreen ( Hermon ) Goosney ,Theresa ( Trevor ) Keough, Gloria, Brada ( Donald ) Hewlin ,Woodrow Payne his special friend Felix Goosney , also a large circle of nieces, nephews,relatives and friends. Locksley was predeceased by his son Dallas, parents Percie and Lily Kate, brother Hubert,step- bother Chris his in-laws Clyde, Francis and sister-in-law Ann. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Parsons Pond on Saturday and Sunday where also the funeral service will take place on Monday at 2:00pm. with Canon Terry Rose officiating.
