On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, July 13, 2019, Linda Druken passed away peacefully at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center in St. John’s. She was a strong woman that battled cancer for 6 years and when her time on earth was shortening, she became eager to reunite with her soulmate, her late husband Harold Druken (1950-2015). She is predeceased by her parents: Sam and Margaret Dodd, brother William Dodd (wife June, children Blaine and Karen). Leaving to mourn her daughter Marion Druken (Stewart); special grandchildren: Wes, Bower and Ali; her son Harold Druken; special grandchild Jagger; her only and very close sister Trudy Quinlan; and her brother David Dodd (wife Rhoda, children Davey, Rebecca, Charity, Evangeline and Angelica). We extend a very sincere thank you to the gentle hands of RN Kelly Ralph and the Shea Heights Community Health Center as well as the nurses and doctors at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. She will be sadly missed by her large group of friends especially Joss Delaney and Winnie Piercey. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Tuesday from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from Caul’s Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
She certainly made her mark! She will be loved and missed!
