Lily’s Obituary
WAMBACK, Lily Cordelia – 70, of Shelburne, passed away in Queens General Hospital on Tuesday July 16th with family by her side. Born in Sandy Point she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Scott) Wamback. Lily enjoyed her garden, reading and going for drives. She is survived by her son Jay Newell Thomas of Halifax, sisters; Audrey Stuart (Lockeport), Judy Rose (Sandy Point), Cathy Jones (Welshtown), Alberta Morash (West Head), Karen Harris (Middle Ohio), brothers; Boyd (Alberta), Sid (Hilden),Tom (Allendale), Paul (West Green Harbour). Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Perry Wamback. There will be no visitation by request. Lil’s body has been donated to science at Dalhousie University. A Memorial service will take place in Lower Ohio Hall on Friday July 19th from 2-4 pm. Interment will be at later date. Family flowers only. You may sign the guestbook at www.huskilson.net
