Liethe Julia Minder January 6 1998 June 29 2019

In Loving Memory Of
Liethe Julia Minder
Liethe Julia Minder, her traditional name was Thunder Cloud Woman, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 21 years.
Liethe was born January 6, 1998 in Valleyview Hospital. She lived in various parts of Alberta, on and off reserve.
She was quiet but funny, wise but foolish, a music lover and a budding guitarist, a hard worker and a loyal friend. She looked like a porcelain doll with her beautiful green eyes. Liethe loved her music, guitars, travelling, concerts, visiting and smoking weed.
She will be sadly missed by her mother Elva Larocque; sister Taylor Larocque (Dave Kendell); nephew Ares Minder-Savard; god-brother Joseph Larocque; grandmother Dorothy Campbell; aunties: Christine, Blanche, Joanne, Rachel, and Gloria; and uncles Dale and Fabian. Her uncle Dale taught her how to tune her guitar, and she was well on her way with tuning by ear. She was loved by numerous cousins; special friends Shelby Grey and Sky Thunder; and her well-loved cat, Nephra. She will be fondly remembered by her fellow employees at Red Rock Urban BBQ.
She will be FOREVER 21 – love you forever my baby girl – ‘til we meet again.
A Wake will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 at 4:00pm at Sturgeon Lake Community Hall.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 2:00pm, at Sturgeon Lake Community Hall. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist in alleviating expenses at this time or to an addiction centre of one’s choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Liethe Julia Minder January 6 1998 June 29 2019..
