Our ray of sunshine has joined her loved ones in heaven. As a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all, Layla cared for everyone she knew and loved.
She is survived by her gentle husband and eternal partner, George; as well as her three devoted children, Zeina, Rund (Duraid) and Reem. Her memory will be cherished by her fourgrandchildren, Cathrin, Sama, Brunell and Adriel; her brother, Hanna; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Layla was predeceased by her mother and father; as well as two brothers and two sisters.
She was the rock that held our family in love; our appreciation of life flourished in her presence. Layla was a guiding light who was always willing to help her family and friends. Her dominant legacy is preserved by her three lovely daughters, husband and grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, AB. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.
