Kenneth Louis “Kenny” Broussard
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Kenneth Louis “Kenny” Broussard, who passed away
suddenly on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the age of
48.
Kenny was a man of few words but had a heart larger than
life. He spent 23 years of service working for the Department of
National Defence. No matter the situation he always enjoyed providing
a helping hand. He was a simple man that enjoyed homemade meals and
had a love for anything that was sweet and tasty. He will be greatly
missed by his family and friends.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Zavarella;
parents, Louis and Mildred Broussard; brother, Keith (Joana); and
nephew, Connor; father and mother-in-law, Luigi and Maria Zavarella;
Nonna Nunziata Presutti; and sister-in-law, Giovanna Zavarella;
beloved animals Mia Bella and Oreo; also, many cousins, uncles, and
aunts on both sides of the family.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held
at the Atlantic Funeral Home on 6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax on Friday
evening, July 5th from 7-9 pm. The funeral will take place
on Saturday, July 6th, at 11:00 am, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic
Parish, 6903 Mumford Rd, Halifax, Father Paul Morris,
Celebrant.
There will also be a memorial Mass on Tuesday, July 9th, at
11:00 am in Ste. Croix Catholic Church, 1148 Monks Head Rd, Pomquet,
NS, Father Andrew Gillies presiding. Burial in the parish
cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers,
please send donations to the Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia.
