Kenneth Ken Reeson May 19 2019 July 16 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Reeson on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
Ken worked in construction and sales for several years, and for the last 32 years was a Realtor, most recently with Real Estate Professionals. He was a long-time member of Inglewood Golf and Curling Club and served on the Board of Directors in the mid 70’s during the construction of Deerfoot Trail and the reconstruction of the golf course. Anyone who knew Ken would tell you he was passionate about Inglewood. Ken ran and organized South Four Basketball, as part of Calgary Minor Basketball, for 18 years, and volunteered as an assistant coach at Henry Wise Wood High School for 4 years. He became active with St. Matthew’s United Church and served on the Board for several years.
Ken will be dearly missed by his wife, Barbara (nee Lawritsen), and his children, Wesley (Michelle) and Matthew (Eden-Raye). He is also survived by his sisters, Kathy Medd and Judy Evans (Bryan); and his brother, Tom (Betty). Ken was predeceased by his parents Howard and Jean, and his brother-in-law, Larry Medd.
Funeral service will be held at St. Matthew’s United Church (2039 – 26a Street SW) on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 1:00pm.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to
Children’s Cottage Society (Brenda’s House) (childrenscottage.ab.ca/main/brenda-s-house/)
or Inglewood Golf and Curling Club (Junior Golf) (www.inglewoodgolfclub.ca/).
