Peacefully at Arbour Heights Care Facility, Kingston ON. on Saturday July 20, 2019 in his 87th year. Kenneth Johnston, formerly of Pembroke beloved husband of the late Ethel Johnston (nee Laronde). Loved father of John Johnston (Joan), Merrickville, Brian Johnston (Carmelita), Sault Ste. Marie and Carol Lett (late David), Kingston and the late Karen Johnston. Loving grandfather to Bradley, Lesley, Tanya and Eric Johnston, Melisa and Tracey Lett and John, Joe, Janine, Sue and the late James Gibbs and great grandchildren Emma, Katie, Gabrielle, Noah, Olivia, Samantha, Lisa, Rebecca, Jenny, Janine and Johnny. Ken came from a family of 3 brothers and eight sisters. Son of the late Raymond and Violet (nee Loner) Johnston. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ken with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Service to celebrate Ken’s Life will take place in the Chapel on Friday July 26 at 12 noon.
