Judy’s Obituary
Judy Ann Paishk, at the age of 62, completed her earthly life and work and went home to be forever with Jesus on June 29, 2019. Early on that morning, Judy and her husband, Joe, had began a road trip to visit family in Indiana. Judy started the trip with thorough prayer for family members, both spiritual and natural. After telling Joe she would take a rest, she passed peacefully into the waiting arms of her beloved Saviour.
Judy, daughter of Paul and Mary Stoll, was born at home on October 11, 1956. Some family members say she was born in Strawberry Lake, Wisconsin. Her birth certificate says Sugar Bush County, Minnesota. For sure, we know she was born again of the Spirit after a life- changing encounter with Jesus in Texas as a young adult. Judy grew up on the rocky shores of the south end of Lake of the Woods in her family’s home on Flag Island. There they shared and lived the gospel with Treaty 3 peoples as well as other neighbours.
Judy was a quiet person who enjoyed a simple life and meaningful relationships with friends and family. In the spiritual realm she was a woman of faith and power. She loved teaching the Bible in Sunday morning classes. She served her community well through decades of work at the local grocery store offering helpful service and friendship to customers and co-workers alike.
Judy is survived by her husband, Joe Paishk, children, Tamsen Paishk (Jay FVachon), Natasha Nitehawk (Cody Masson), and her son, Dallas (Mimi) Paishk, her mother, Mary Stoll, her brothers, Alvin (Rita) Stoll and Chad Stoll, her sisters, Gladys (Galen) Bontrager, Jenny (Greg) Gilbert, Lillie (Brian Kelly) Sioui, and Lois Stoll. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Meaghan, DeVonte, Ivory, Xavier, Zachary, Machis, Abigaelle, Hope, Seven, Atticus, and Maxwell and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Paul Stoll, and her nephews Monty and Nathan.
A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, July 4th at 10 am in the Grace Community Church with Walter Hostetler officiating.
A public interment will follow in the Red Lake Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to Grace Community Church (2nd chance thrift store) through Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Judy Ann Paishk October 11 1956 June 29 2019..
