Juanita Frances Dinn
December 02, 1964 – June 30, 2019
On Sunday June 30, 2019 Juanita Frances (Lake) Dinn slipped quietly and peacefully into the arms of God. We are shattered. And yet we know that we are the luckiest people in the world. Because Juanita was our mother, daughter, sister, relative and friend.
Juanita’s boys were the centre of her universe. There was nothing she did not do, or endure, that wasn’t first and foremost for them.
To know Juanita is to know love, grace, strength and beauty. Juanita’s superpower was her faith. Faith in having her deepest wishes granted by the Holy Spirit. Faith that staying in the present would take care of the future. And faith that love was enough.
Speaking of love, Juanita was pre-deceased by her mother, Mary Lake, and her brother, Norbert Lake.
She was loved unconditionally by her husband Brian and her sons Adam, Ryan and Christian. Also by her father William Lake, sisters Barbara Harris (Fred), Billie Taylor (Ron) and Rosemary Vysohlid (Thom). And her brothers Daniel (Leona), Maurice (Debbie), Douglas (Donna) and Hugh (Elaine).
Juanita has left a large hole in many hearts. Our shared blessing is that we loved, and were loved by, this courageous and generous woman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Caul’s Funeral Home from 10am – 9pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa’s Parish on Thursday July 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
Flowers are gratefully accepted because Juanita loved being surrounded by their delicate beauty.
Donations are also gratefully accepted to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation’s “In This Together” fundraising campaign for a new chemotherapy unit. This campaign was very close to Juanita’s heart.
