Memorial Donation
Passed peacefully into rest in the presence of her family, Joyce Piercey, at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, Gander, NL, on July 28, 2019, at the age of 92.
She is predeceased by her parents, James & Neta Baker; husband, Milton Piercey; 12 brothers and sisters.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Judy (Pleman) Pope of St. John’s. NL; Jackie (Jerry) Rose of Bishop’s Falls, NL; son, Jim (Bonnie) Piercey of Gander, NL; Five grandchildren, Rochelle (Bruce) Newman, Matthew Pope (Diana), Stephen (Esther) Pope, Cory Wiseman (Melissa) and Abigayle Wiseman; Four great grandchildren, Gabrielle Newman, Claire Newman, Joshua Newman and James Pope; Sister-in-law, Ina Baker of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Brother-in law: George (Betty) Piercey of Grand Falls-Windsor,, NL; Sister-in-law, Betty (Dennis) Beadle of Ontario; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
The public visitation will take place Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The funeral service will take place Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2 pm from Windsor Pentecostal Church, 97 King Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Caribou Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to The Gideon Bible Society.
