Obituary of Joseph James Rodgers
Joseph James Rodgers left us on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Ottawa.
Joe will be missed by his soul mate and best friend, Gloria F. Tubman, his son Scott (Randi Thomson), his daughter Allison (Ryan McGillis), grandson, Owen McGillis, brother Dan Rodgers, his little buddies Theo Cummings and Liam Tubman, and their families.
Respecting Joe’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
Should you choose to remember Joe, please do so with a donation to the Little Rocks program at your curling club, your local amateur football club, or the charity of your choice.
The family wishes to acknowledge the great care given to Joe by the St. Vincent’s Hospital community and all our friends who were there for us in the past months.
Friends are invited to join with his family to remember Joe by sharing their stories and pictures on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 2:30 P.M. – 4:30 P.M. at Summerhays Grill, 1971 Baseline Road, east of Woodroffe Ave., Ottawa, Ontario.
