In loving memory of John Sorgini, who passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the age of 98 years, with his family by his side. Caring brother of Armando Sorgini (predeceased) and Irma Natale. John is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Ann (Warren) Sorgini, and his loving children, Richard Sorgini (Brenda) of Midland, Shelley Sorgini of London, and Curtis Sorgini (Paula) of Sudbury. Dear grandfather of Taylor, Carlie, Hanna, Claudia, Alana, John, Rebecca and David Sorgini.
John was born in Fossacesia, Italy and came to Canada in 1938. He worked at INCO as an electrician, moving on to Central Engineering and ending his years with the company as a General Foreman at the Iron Ore Plant. John will be remembered for his passion for square dancing and his love of bridge, which he pursued both at home and for many winters in Florida.
A private family service has been arranged. Memorial donations may be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. For donations and messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org.
