La célébration de
Joan Arnold
20 juillet 1944 –
6 juillet 2019
Joan passed away peacefully in her 75th year surrounded by her family. Joan is predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of almost 51 years James. Joan also leaves behind her 6 daughters Gerie (Mike) Simpson, Jodi (Bill) Richardson, Tara (Mark) Moodie, Tonya (Ken) Cameron, Andrea (Alston) Carey and Shawna (Allan) Johnson. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan was born and raised in Provo, Utah and moved to Ontario, Canada as a young bride. Joan was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held a strong belief in her faith. Her values could be seen in her generous and giving nature and her kind hearted spirit. Joan had many talents including sewing, baking, stained glass, and crocheting to name a few. She lovingly passed on her knowledge and talent to her children and grandchildren who will forever continue to cherish these special memories. Joan will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her love of earrings, her love of silly songs and her ability to connect with anyone.
A special thank you to the many staff and residents at Wentworth Heights who became close friends to her, cared for her and loved her to the end, your love and affection for our mother was quite evident in her final hours and did not go unnoticed by her family. Mom, may you now be forever at peace and no longer in pain, running hand in hand across the heavens with the love of your life.
Joans request was for a private service to be held with her family at a later date.
