Jeffrey’s Obituary
ALMA – Jeffrey Allan Richard, 48, Alma, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Dunnville, Ont., he was a son of Mark Gordon Albert Richard and the late Patricia Ann (Coombs) Richard. Jeffrey was employed with Randstad at Michelin Tire, Granton. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his boys. Jeffrey will be dearly missed for his joyous antics and wonderful sense of humour. Time spent with his wife, boys and family was most important to him. Jeffrey leaves a grateful family, a legacy of love.
Surviving besides his father, Mark (Gladys), Abercrombie; are his wife, Darlene; sons, Peter and Andrew, Alma; sisters, Paula (Joey) Swallow, Thorburn; Jennifer (Gordon) Fennell, New Glasgow; brothers, Michael (Donna) Richard, New Glasgow; Jimmy (Anna) Richard, Red Deer, Alta.; Wendell Richard, Pictou; Stephen (Sara) Richard, Westville; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Lindsay, Brandon, Gordon, Melissa, Nicholas, Mark, Emily, Melanie, Joey, Shayleigh, Carly, Lauren, Parker, Angi, Josh, Andrea, Nathan, Aaron, Holly and Emma; great-nieces and nephews, Austin, Jacob, Jase, Autumn, Jensen, Alexa, Jaida, Seth and Scarlett; mother-in-law, Norma Lane, Bible Hill; sisters-in-law, Tricia Lane (Eugene), Bible Hill; Althea Lane (Raymond), Truro; Wanda Lane (Leroy), Truro; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by father-in-law, Thomas Lane.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 8th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
