Jared Bailey
1992-2019
It is with profound sadness that the family of Gunner, Jared
Bailey announce his passing on July 2, 2019, at Hospice House,
Fredericton, NB. Born on October 15, 1992, in New Glasglow, NS, he was
the son of James and Janet (Dickson) Bailey.
In addition to his parents, Jared will be greatly missed by
his loving wife, Rachel (Mahoney) Bailey and their adorable daughter,
Lucille Dawn Bailey; their charismatic pupperdoo, Canna; brother,
Jacob Bailey (Stephanie Brideau); special cousins, Gabrielle Bailey,
Christina Bailey, Mary Bailey, Christopher Teiman, Lauren Teiman, and
Lindsay Moore; as well as several aunts and uncles.
Jared spent his life brightening the hearts and selflessly
carrying the loads of others. He meant the world to so many
and brought joy and laughter with him wherever he went. He
will be missed beyond belief and a hole, that can never be filled, is
left in his place.
Jared was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Jim Bailey
Sr.; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Betty Dickson and a brother,
whom was a long time cancer fighter, David Fang Xu.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, from 6-9 pm at
Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB. The funeral
service will be held from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, 986 Smythe St, Fredericton, NB, on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 1
pm. Bishop Robb MacGougan will officiate. For those who wish, memorial
donations in Jared’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Research Society or the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Foundation
directed to the Pediatric Department.
His courageous battle here is over, but a new adventure is
only beginning.
Soldier on.
