On June 27, 2019, Jim passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 84.
He will be forever in the hearts of his family: wife of 61 years, Frances; daughters, Barbara (Allan) Brinker, and Patti (Todd) Diewert; grandchildren, Katelyn (Seamus) Gates, Colin (Katelyn) Reeves, Elise (Danny) Sawchuk, and Cole Diewert; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Sterling; numerous friends and relatives.
A special thank you to the staff of the Edmonton General Hospital Unit 9Y for their tender love and care.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, Jim has requested you pass along the same kindness shown to him.
