Obituary of Henry Muchynski
MUCHYNSKI, Henry
Long-time resident of Stoney Creek, immigrating to Canada from Poland. He retired from a lengthy career at Dofasco and remembered his time there fondly. In retirement, Henry was free to devote his time to his creative outlet, gardening. He was very generous with his time, energy and resources to everyone. Henry passed away peacefully at his home, on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Barbara for 42 years. Cherished father of Wanda Bedford (David), Donna Gibney (Michael), Chester Ustrzycki (Jacki) and Robert Ustrzycki (Karen). Devoted grandfather of Carly, Gracey, Cooper, Riley, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Tyler (Diana), Courtney, Beth, Michael (Bev), Jamie, Jennifer (Bryan), Renée (Rudy), Ryan (Heidi) and great-grandfather of Alexis, Thomas, Abigail, Kaleb, Gabriel, Colton and Hunter. Loved uncle of Joe (Trish), Stan (Leigh Ann), Leszek (Ursula) and Jacob, Vojtek (Mary). We will all miss Henry’s quirky sense of humour and the twinkle in his eye. He was a man with passion for excellence in everything he did and we are thankful to have gleaned many valuable life lessons from his wisdom and experience. Special thank you to Dr. Ralph Profetto, nurses of St. Joseph’s Healthcare, PSW’s of Bayshore and the VON for all of the extra help and loving care. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
