With tearful eyes and a broken heart we have to say good bye to our husband and beloved father Gordon William Clarke. He lived a fulfilled and beautiful life with his wife ivy of 54 years (nee: Gillingham) and his children Karen Bennett (Bill), and son Gordon (Tina). Both Karen and Gord took time off their regular jobs to be with him in his last months. His grandchildren: Amanda Bennett, Billy Bennett (Brittany), Hayley Clarke (Josh), Shannon (Tanisha), and Jordan Clarke. His great grandson Jacob Bennett (AKA Jakie Miller), and his great granddaughter Lexus Bennett (AKA Robyn). Loved ones that cleared the path for Gordon are his parents: John and Victoria Clarke; his brother Harry Clarke; his sister Joyce Borden; 2 baby sisters; his nephew Gordon Parsons; his niece Kathy; his great nephew Byron Butt; and his mother In law Heidi Gillingham. Gordon was kind hearted soul who cherished his family. He was a talented self-taught guitar player and in his younger years he would often sing at family gatherings and to his children and grandchildren. He was an avid moose hunter and had a great passion for casting his fishing line on nearby ponds with many of his friends. Gordon drove the city bus (Jitny) in his early years until he decided to become a truck driver. He retired at the age of 65. He was from a large family and was the brother of Harry (deceased), Shirley Park (Jerry), Lloyd Clarke (Alma), Blanch Tucker, Joyce Borden (deceased), Jack Clarke (Maude), Hazel Flynn, Jeannie Boyle (Brad), Marie Clarke, Harold Clarke (Sylvia), Rose, and Linda who rarely left his side the last few months He also leaves to mourn a large circle of brothers and sisters in law.
