Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 14, 2019, with his family by his side. Glenn Richard Switzer of Marlbank at age 81. Beloved husband of Geraldine Switzer (Kirkpatrick) and dear father of Marie Boomhour; Gerald (Mary Ann); Cindy Switzer (Ron) all of Marlbank; Peter (Sarah) of Roblin and Mark (Shannon) of Tweed. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Brother of Bruce (Nellie); Bud (Donna); Sherman (Shirley); Dorothy McFarland (late Ed); Ruth Carter (Jack); Shirley Gordinier (late Harold); and Freda Sculley (Jack). Prdeceased by his parents Wesley Switzer and Daisy Sedore and by his brothers Albert, Alton, George, Arthur, John, and Floyd. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Tamworth (613-379-2997) on Friday, July 19 from 10 a.m., followed by Service at 11:00 a.m. Reception at the Roblin Wesleyan Church after service. Memorial donations (by cheque please) to the Alzheimer Society or L&A Hospice would be appreciated.
