On June 30, 2019 Mrs. Jean Gascon of Elk Point passed away at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her children, Omer, Jerry (Delayne), Rene & Roxanne (Steve) Hoshowski; 3 grandchildren, Jarrett, Gabriel & Isabella; 2 step-grandchildren, Devon & Jordan; 2 sisters & 1 brother, Berthe (Roland) Michaud, Real (Jenny) Malo & Fleurette (Metro) Papirny; special sister-in-law, Claudette (Stan “Pete”) Krylo; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Gascon was predeceased by her husband, Roland; parents, Floremond & Maria Malo; sisters, Lucille (Jacques) Charbonneau & Gilberte (Origene) Lafortune; brothers, Lucien (Irene), Pierre (Lillian Durand), Roland (Lucille) & Aime. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, with Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier as the celebrant. Cremation has taken place.
